Effectivess of High Early Strength Concrete Class 50A with Polypropylene Fibers as a Cost-Effective Alternative for Field-Cast Connections of Precast Elements in Accelerated Bridge Construction
摘要:
This project will review literature on closure pour materials for connecting precast deck girders, panels, and box components. The existing unpublished Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) experimental data will be analyzed and compared with Idaho Department of Transportation's (ITD's) data on alternative closure pour material. This analysis will determine the need for additional testing and finite element (FE) computer modeling of the proposeed ITD closure pour material.
