| 摘要： | Connecticut Department of Transportation (ConnDOT) has embarked on the development of a new statewide travel demand model which will enhance evaluation of a variety of new transportation policy and planning applications, including transit oriented developments, multimodal public transportation systems and commuter rail options. The new model will initially be an expanded four-step model with a longer-term goal of activity-based modeling. A key input to successful implementation of a travel demand model is household travel survey data that provides detailed information regarding the different measurements of travel patterns of a representative subset of households/individuals in the study area. Household travel surveys also provide rich information regarding a variety of socio-economic, demographic and land use attributes that can be used to comprehend and analyze the travel choices people make. The purpose of this study is to conduct a comprehensive household travel survey that will facilitate the development of both the immediate and future model goals. |
