| 摘要： | Appropriate, accurate, and reliable communication is the key ingredient of a successful Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). For rural ITS transit applications, however, there is a scarcity of communication infrastructure. This absence of physical components hinders the implementation of ITS applications in a rural setting. Sharing communication infrastructure, sharing information/data, sharing personnel and sharing the associated costs--are useful strategies to employ when planning a rural ITS application. |
