| 摘要： | ITE JOURNAL: What are some of the projects you are currently working on at the Portland Bureau of Transportation? KENTOSH: There are so many! Three of my favorites are: 1. 70s Neighborhood Greenway, in construction now! We are building a new neighborhood greenway route to prioritize people walking, biking, or rolling through the 70s blocks. 2. Division Transit Project, wrapping up now. We worked with TriMet to bring the first high-capacity bus service to Portland. A new cloud-based transit signal priority system uses machine learning to influence traffic signal operations. 3. Traffic signal modernization, ongoing. I enjoy working with our interns to install ATC traffic signal controllers. Then I like to set up our signals for automated traffic signal performance measures. Work smarter, not harder! |
