摘要：	I had the opportunity to present on behalf of IMSA in front of record attendance at the National Committee in Uniform Traffic Control Devices (NCUTCD) Annual Meeting in Washington, Jan. 11-13. Around the same dates, IMSA had a couple of representatives at the Transportation Research Board's annual meetings also held in out nation's capital. From every indication on social media, these meetings were also well attended. I look forward to the official report from our two representatives. Based on my experience and observations of these two overlapping meetings in a chilly geographic environment as COVID-19 still impacts the health of today's travelers, it is apparent there is excitement and importance to what lies ahead in the future of public safety and, specifically, transportation. The IMSA Board of Directors and staff leadership are dedicated to advancing the future of public safety as we prepare to launch new certification exams very soon.
