| 摘要： | Transport Scotland is carrying out a trial of a new lower carbon asphalt, part of the Breedon Balance Range of products, on the A92 trunk road in Scotland. The new asphalt incorporates a polymer modified bitumen (PMB] from Nynas containing a biogenic component. Firstly, Breedon carried out extensive laboratory trials in England to ensure that the new PMB gave equivalent performance to its existing product, before moving to trials on local authority roads and a car park in the East Midlands. Site cores from these English trials were tested for compliance with the specifications on stiffness, wheel tracking, water sensitivity and void content. |
