Balfour Beatty Living Places (BBLP) has taken its haul of work in the past three months to more than £900m after winning a major seven-year deal with East Sussex County Council. The contractor will maintain the council's highways and infrastructure network and build a new operational control hub as part of a deal that is initially valued at /297m but could, with extensions of another seven years, rise to /730m. Managing director Steve Helliwell (pictured) said: 'This latest award builds on our longstanding expertise and commitment to providing best-in-class highways and infrastructure maintenance services across the UK.' |
