摘要：	VolkerWessels has bagged an £81m deal to upgrade Junction 10 of the M27 near Fareham in Hampshire. The contractor is working with lead designer Ramboll on the design with construction expected to start in the New Year. Hampshire County Council and Fareham Borough Council were awarded £41.2m of Housing Investment Grant in March by Homes England for the project, which will improve access for the 6,000-home Welborne Garden Village development. The majority of the balance in funding will come from Buckland Development, which is building the garden village. John Beresford, managing director of Buckland Development, said: 'The new motorway junction will not only serve the 6,000 homes of the new town but also the new Welborne Science and Technology Park, which will be the largest new employment scheme along the South Coast.'
