| 摘要： | In 2022, Surrey County Council secured a £125,000 grant from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities' PropTech Engagement Fund, designed to increase citizen engagement within the planning process using digital tools and services. The grant coincided with preparations for a major infrastructure project consultation at Surrey CC. The Farnham Infrastructure Programme was set up to tackle air quality and congestion issues and wanted public feedback on two proposals to transform Farnham town centre. In spring 2021, the council ran a consultation on the Farnham programme, which only attracted 6% of responses from people aged under 35. Our council leader challenged us to increase engagement among younger people - we wanted to use the PropTech funds to see if we could get feedback from a wider audience. |
