| 摘要： | The Scottish Ayrshire Centre took a trip to the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust (GVVT) for its first site visit of 2022. The Trust operates a joint venture to restore and preserve historic passenger carrying commercial vehicles while helping people with drug and alcohol addiction problems with the offer of work experience. Chairman Steven Booth and Trustee Ian Walker gave the members a talk on the Trust's history and current activities. They explained how the garage, established as a heritage centre for buses and commercial vehicles, has around 150 vehicles in the collection, including fire appliances. The vehicles are often taken around the city of Glasgow and made available for the public to travel on. |
