| 摘要： | Chinese bus manufacturer BYD has introduced a new battery-electric school bus in North America with vehicle-to-grid technology, which means it can double up as a power storage resource when not being used to carry pupils. The Type A school bus comes in three lengths, 26.7ft, 24.5ft and 22.9ft and can seat up to 30 passengers. Twin hub motors on the Type A are powered by a lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The bus has a range of 140 miles (225km) before recharging, said the makers. It comes with a 150kw DV high- charging solution and can also be supplied with a 192kW single-phase AC charging. |
