More than 30 buses look part in the London Bus Museum's running day over route 101 (North Woolwich - Wanstead) on March 26. Whilst Routemaster and, RT family buses dominated, many other types also appeared. These included the museum's Pork Royal-bodied Guy Arab, G351 (HGC 130), which was delivered new to Upton Park garage in February 1946 and would hove been a regular performer on the route. The 101 was the last London Transport route operated by the class with the final examples not being withdrawn until May 1953. MARK LYONS. |
