| 摘要： | Over 3,000 visitors attend an open day, held on June 11, at Stockwell bus garage to mark its 70th anniversary. In addition to a static display of buses charting the vehicles based at the garage since it opened visitors were also able to travel on re-creations of parts of routes 77A (Parliament Square - Wandsworth), 169 (Clapham Junction -Stockwell) and 181 (Victoria - Streatham). Buses used on route 77A included preserved Alexander-bodied Volvo Citybus V3 (A103SUU) which has front and rear doors and twin staircases. The unique vehicle initially operated on the 77A when it entered service in 1985. |
