| 摘要： | In Idaho, the Bureau of Community and Environmental Health (BCEH) serves the public by using the best science, taking responsive public health actions, and providing trusted health information to prevent people from coming into contact with harmful toxic substances. The Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) has operated a rail yard with maintenance facilities in Pocatello, Idaho for over 120 years. In 1983, UPRR property outside the UPRR rail yard was placed on the National Priority List (Superfund list) for contamination associated with a railroad tie treatment facility and an unlined sludge pit which leached contaminants into the groundwater. |
