| 摘要： | Feeling as if you are left out of something, be it in your personal life or at work, is not something anyone enjoys. However, there is a big difference between actively not being included in the planning of a project or event that you are leading - a clear sign of bullying - and deciding that you want to do your own project but find that no one is joining you - more of a sign that you might not be a team player. This can take many forms, one of which is letting your ego get in the way of the team's goal. For example, a team mate who refuses to join your team, but replicates the project with the same message and gets upset that you do not join their effort, would rightly be criticized for diluting the power of the unified message. The context for my thoughts is emission reduction from the maritime transportation system, which requires the whole industry to band together if we are to achieve this goal. |
