| 摘要： | I wish I'd known more about the importance of workplace safety when I was studying civil engineering in college. Today, promoting workplace safety, especially for the construction industry, is one of my highest priorities. But when I was an undergraduate student at the University of Washington in the mid-1980s, and then a graduate student there, workplace safety just wasn't mentioned much. That was a real missed opportunity for me because one of the professors in the civil engineering department at that time was Jimmie Hinze, Ph.D., an ASCE member at the time who was once described as a "rock star of construction safety? |
