| 摘要： | The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has put a lot of emphasis in recent years on scheduling. Project completion is an essential element in today’s environment of the 3R (rehabilitation, reconstruction, research) projects. In the past, the FDOT were using bar charts and CPM as their major tools in scheduling construction projects. Those techniques are suitable for many types of projects, however, they do not fit for linear projects. This research describes a technique called linear scheduling and its application for FDOT construction operations. After analyzing a few case studies it was found that this technique is very efficient for the scheduling of linear projects, however, there is a need for a computer software to assist the scheduling engineer in preparing linear charts. The report describes the software that was developed by the research, its documentation, and example for a case study that was scheduled using this software. |
