| 摘要： | The Western Dredging Association (WEDA) is taking applications for its 2022 WEDA Environmental Excellence Awards. Award applications are due by May 6. Each year WEDA presents the awards to outstanding projects at its annual WEDA Environmental Summit and Exposition. In 2022, the awards will be announced July 26, during the WEDA Luncheon at the WEDA Dredging Summit and Exposition being held July 25-28 in Houston, Texas. Three Environmental Excellence Awards will be given. They will be in the categories dredging for navigation (to create or maintain navigation channels); environmental dredging (for environmental enhancement such as remediation or wetland creation); and for mitigation or adaptation to climate change (for projects exemplifying the World Organization of Dredging Associations Statement on Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change). |
