| 摘要： | This manual presents a process to manage roadway sites beneath which abandoned underground mines exist The process is comprised of four basic activities: 1) the establishment inventory of an roadway sites beneath which abandoned underground mines may exist; 2) the assessment of the risk to Safety of the traveling public which each site represents; 3) the remediation of sites, if necessary, and; 4) the permanent monitoring of sites. The process can be applied to one or all sites within a state. The principles and the basic risk management process documented in this manual can also provide a basic framework into which other states might insert their own state-specific criteria to produce a risk management system for similar geologic conditions such as karst or for other geologic hazards. |
