摘要：	The standard of emulsiflcation is very basic yet the science itself is profoundly intricate. The emulsions are being used in the country for a long time in prime coat, tack coat and now in bituminous layers also. The cement stabilization is also not new for pavements. Traditionally, lime and cement are used in various layers of pavements to reduce the plasticity index and increase the UCS value. However, use of emulsion along with cement that too in wet mix macadam (WMM) is a new approach and is to be examined. The present study was conducted to explore the use of emulsion and cement with WMM Mixes. Also, reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) material was used to replace the virgin material. The emulsion and cement was varied from 2 to 4% and 1 to 3% respectively with virgin aggregates as well as RAP aggregates. All different combinations were compared. It has been found that use of emulsion does not increase the strength but there is a remarkable increase in the permeability. Based on this study, use of emulsion is recommended with cement in WMM Mixes.
