摘要：	Madam/Sir, The Department related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture, vide Para 57 of the 317th Report, reiterates the recommendation it has previously made in 296th Report on 'Role of Highways in Nation Building' regarding creation of a central database of National Highways rating scores, including the ones executed by State PWDs, and further recommends that those parameters in the Corridor Rating Methodology which pertain to the performance of road contractors, may be utilized to adjudge their overall performance based on all the road projects they have worked on across the country. In this context, Ministry has issued a Circular no. RW/NH-33044/15/2021-S&R(P&B), dated: 16th April, 2021. The SOP for rating of two lane NHs with undivided carriageway was finalized and it was mentioned that this rating would help in performance appraisal of deployed concessionaire/contractor/maintenance agency.
