摘要: Deck slabs are part of superstructure which transfers loads to substructure of bridge. There are different types of deck slabs available. Broadly deck slabs can be classified as; (a) Deck supported on opposite edges, (b) Deck supported on all edges and (c) Cantilever decks. For analysis of deck superstructure various methods are available. In this paper, comprehensive study on methods is carried out and further classified based on type of deck slab. Examples of fully supported, partially supported and supported on bearing are analyzed using various suggested methods. One-way and two-way type of deck slab is considered in case of interior deck slab. Stiffened and unstiffened type of cantilever slab with uniform depth and varying depth is considered. These slabs are solved by manual methods using'excel sheets and using grill age and finite element analysis is carried out. Comparison between various methods is presented through graphs and for each deck slab efficient method is suggested.
