| 摘要： | Construction of bridges in hilly areas specially in Arunachal Pradesh has been a great challenge due to varied geological and climatic conditions. BRO has a vast experience of building bridges in North and North Eastern Himalayan provinces of the country. Siang River after entering in India had only one permanent 70 R bridge completed in 2010 near Pasighat, Siang bridge (162 m long) has been recently completed. This is a cantilever Bridge having very unique site near Ditte-Dimmai in Siang District as hard rock available on both bank. Construction aspect of the bridge and various challenges have been discussed in the Paper. |
