| 摘要： | This report provides an estimate of the total extent of cyclist injuries in Norway. Any means of hospital data, the non-recorded accidents are split according to injury severity. Approximately 13%are police recorded out of a total annual injury number of slightly less than 6000. In discussing the risk of cycling, we show how important it is to distinguish between pure section risk and pure crossing risk. Construction of cycle paths reduces the section risk, but the combined section and crossing risk may increase if crossing measures are not brought about simultaneously. Finally the report indicates how to include non-recorded accidents and the issue of section risk / crossing risk into a tool for cost-benefit analysis of measures towards cycling. |
