| 摘要： | The Superpave (trademark) (Superior Performing Asphalt Pavements) binder specification, a product of SHRP (Strategic Highway Research Program) asphalt research, was implemented by most state departments of transportation in 1992. Some departments implemented the binder specification as 'blind' specification for all binders, assuming all binders of equal grading would perform equally in hot mix asphalt mixtures. Other departments of transportation were more skeptical and implemented the binder specification with additional testing requirements. Some implemented binder specifications with stipulations as to how and from what the asphalt binders could be manufactured. Still other departments delayed implementation for fear of loosing proven performance and quality of hot mix asphalt pavements currently used in their states. |
