| 摘要： | This work assignment was conducted to locate and collect ten (10) passenger car and light-duty truck new aftermarket catalysts that had been in use for at least a few thousand miles. EPA will use these catalysts to verify that such aftermarket catalysts control emissions as effectively as OEM catalysts used in vehicle certification, and continue to do so in use. The ten catalysts were be collected from vehicle owners in the Houston, Texas area. Each catalyst procedure was to be inspected visually and by shaking in order to provide a brief description of its condition. A corresponding fuel sample taken from each vehicle's gas tank was to be analyzed for lead by atomic absorption. |
