| 摘要： | This report is an assessment of demand forecasts carried out by the consulting firm Asplan Viak. The forecasts concern the impact of a proposed railway line that will shorten the existing rail track between Oslo and Bergen. Although several assumptions used in the analysis for local traffic can be questioned, we find no overall systematic bias in the forecasts. For long distance trips the assumptions used in the model seems to be on the conservative side and thus produce forecasts that - in our opinion - underpredict the potential increase in railway traffic. |
