Effect of Concentration and Temperature of Ethanol in Fuel Blends on Microbial and Stress Corrosion Cracking of Pipeline Steels
项目名称: Effect of Concentration and Temperature of Ethanol in Fuel Blends on Microbial and Stress Corrosion Cracking of Pipeline Steels
摘要: The Colorado School of Mines (CSM), in association with the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST), proposes a three-year research program to measure the effect of concentration and temperature of ethanol in fuel blends on microbiological and caustic corrosion of high strength steels used in handling and transportation. The project will also determine tested solutions for identified corrosion problems while transporting ethanol-fuel blends.
