Estimating the Magnitude and Frequency of Peak Discharges for Rural, Unregulated Streams in West Virginia
项目名称: Estimating the Magnitude and Frequency of Peak Discharges for Rural, Unregulated Streams in West Virginia
摘要: Bridges and culverts continuously need to be upgraded, redesigned, and relocated. Most of these structures are located on ungaged streams and the most up-to-date estimating equations should be used to redesign these structures. Since the estimating procedures were published in 2000 using 1997 data, significant additional data and information has become available, including ten years of additional streamflow records, fifteen additional small drainage-area gages, and skew coefficients that have recently been developed. This project will revise the estimating procedures to include the most recent information available.
