A PC composite bridge with corrugated steel webs is a promising structure with superior properties and cost effectiveness.Studs,PBLs,angle or embedded connectors have been used for the joints between corrugated steel webs and concrete lower slab.However,care must be taken to the inverted construction of concrete and water proofing of joints when connectors are used.With a view to these problems,the validity of placing lower slab on the inner side of corrugated steel webs was confirmed and new joint structures are proposed in this study.In addition,push-out tests with different parameters including the welding length,the plate thickness and the plate shape were carried out to study the shear performance and failure modes,the relative slip and residual slip between corrugate steel web and lower slab were measured to verify the safety and feasibility of the joint structure.The calculation formula of the design shear strength considering reduction coefficient(k =1.26)was deduced and verified reasonable by the test.It follows that experimental studies can serve as a basis for the joint structure design of composite bridge with corrugated steel webs. |
