DoE method is introduced for frontal restraint system development based on a parametric frontal crash LS-DYNA model.It starts with collecting and statistics of the range of the parameters affecting on the frontal crash performance.Then the key parameters had been scanned respectively for each dummy injury by Plackett-Burman method,including 50FF,56FF and 64ODB crash load cases.Top 10 most important influential parameters are selected.The response surface method (RSM) and regression equation for dummy injury is illustrated by Box-Behnken model.Finally a injury prediction calculator is designed based those regression equation to get a NCAP score immediately with the parameters input.This tool is to make the quick prediction at quotation phase. |
