摘要:   Numerical simulations of surface combatant DTMB model 5512 shipping in head waves with different wave steepness (0.025≤ak≤0.100) are presented.The heave and pitch motions, added resistance and influences of different wave steepness on added resistance are investigated numerically.The phenomenon of green water on deck (ak =0.100) is also involved in this paper.All computations are performed by our solver naoe-FOAM-SJTU developed based on the open source code OpenFOAM.The computations are based on the Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) approach with the volume of fluid (VOF) method to compute the free surface and a shear stress transport (SST) k-ω model for the turbulent viscosity.The momentum and continuity equations are solved by using the pressure-implicit split-operator (PISO) algorithm.A dynamic deformation mesh method is implemented to predict ship motions accurately.
