摘要: |
A bumper which consists of two types of High Strength Steels is tested under a speed of 40km/h.To simulate the crash process accurately,the mechanical behaviors of the two steels are studied.Plastic anisotropy is investigated by quasi-static tension tests.Results show that one of the materials is severely plastic anisotropic while another one is almost isotropic.Meanwhile,results of tension tests under 7 different strain rates indicate that both of the two steels have positive strain rate dependence in tensile strength.Therefore,four different model choice and calibration strategies are employed to characterize plastic anisotropy and strain rate effect in the simulation of the bumper crash test in LS-DYNA.Simulation results by different strategies are compared,and it is found that the characterization of strain rate effect is of major importance for the simulation of the bumper crash test. |
