As the automotive industry advocate green, vibration,noise,and lower fuel consumption is becoming an important indicator of the development of the brake.Brake drag ' s characteristics is becoming more and more important.High brake drag not only brings high fuel consumption and short disc lifetime,but also influences the variety of disc thickness variation,which is responsible for brake judder problems.In this paper,it is test and analysis that the main factors of brake drag including pad compression ratio,brake caliper housing deformation,brake caliper sliding resistance force,gap between brake disc and pad,etc.In certain passenger car,for example,by calculating and testing methods,considering all factors,analyzing the relationship between the brake pedal feeling and gap of disc and pad,in ensuring the pedal feeling to meet the design requirements,there are several methodologies to optimize residual torque level. |
