This project is to construct 980m sewer tunnel by using 10.3m diameter slurry shield machine.The launching vertical shaft is located at the lower reaches of the Tachiaigawa River at Shinagawa ward of Tokyo, and the reaching point is Katsushima pumping station.There are 4 sharp angle curves with radius of 30m in the tunnel route, and it includes the S shape curve with radius of 30m just before the reaching point.Furthermore, the S shape curve part is located very close to the foundation of bridge pier of Tokyo Metropolitan Highway, and the distance is only about 2m.The second characteristic of this project is a high intensity in distribution of reinforcing bars of the secondary lining structure.As a basic plan, in order to make efficient use of the tunnel as two main lines of drainage water,this secondary lining structure has been constructed to divide the tunnel into top portion and bottom portion.Since the internal pressure is acting at the inner space of the tunnel, necessary reinforcing bars have been installed to make the structure resists the internal water pressure. |
