| 摘要： | The project of accessible facility installation for railway passenger cars in China was launched in August 2011.The main content of accessible facility construction and transformation was proposed after the investigation and research, data inquiry, expert discussion, company review, seeking for expert opinions and scheme optimization.In 2012, the Transport Bureau of Ministry of Railways (China Railway) developed the General Specifications for Accessible Facilities of Type 25 Passenger Cars, and carried out the transformation for Type 25G semi-cushioned seat cars and semi-cushioned berth sleeping cars running on existing lines.In order to standardize the production and transformation of accessible train cars, China is actively promoting the development of national standard General Specifications for accessible Facilities of Railway Passenger Cars and CRH.The draft of national standard for review mainly includes technical requirements for entrances and exits, doors, special seats for the handicapped, wheelchair seats, accessible toilets, accessible passageway, handrails, internal and external signs and call buttons of accessible passenger cars. |
