项目说明: September 2021 - Project is part of the 12th Malaysia Plan; February 2021 - CCCC has secured a construction contract for the second phase of the project; January 2021 - LTA of Singapore has awarded the second civil contract worth USD180mn to China Communications Construction Company for the construction of the line; LTR of Singapore had broken ground; November 2020 - LTA has awarded SGD932mn (USD696mn) contract Penta-Ocean Construction the first of two civil contracts for the construction of the RTS Link Woodlands North station, tunnels and the Customs, Immigration and Quarantine building; Construction begun on the Malaysian side; August 2020 - Prasarana and SMRT signed a joint venture agreement to form RTS Operations, which will operate the project; January 2019 - Project has been delayed after Malaysia decided to replace its JV partner, meanwhile several milestones set out in the legally binding RTS Link bilateral agreement have been missed, which was signed in January 2018; November 2017 - Johor Sultan has agreed to a revised design of a straight elevated bridge for the project; May 2017 - IRDA is in the final stages of discussions on the project; 4 km line will link Bukit Chagar station in Johor Baru, in the south of Malaysia, to the Singapore terminus in Woodlands North, crossing the Straits of Johor; Total project cost - MYR10bn (USD2.4bn); [B&R]
