项目说明：	November 2021 - Project under planning stage; August 2020 - Ministry of Transport to soon implement the components of upgrading; April 2020 - Pre-feasibility study for Phase-II of the project is completed; March 2017 - Ministry of Transport has submitted to Prime Minister a pilot project for the Yen Vien - Lao Cai railway improvement project; Project is part of upgrade of 296 km Yen Vien - Lao Cai Railway Line; Phase II consists of 2 components, component I has total investment of VND2329bn (USD101mn) and includes renovation, upgrading 50.46 km of railway, new construction of 6.32 km of 1,000 mm gauge railway and component II has total investment of VND614bn (USD27mn), including renovating about 3.59 km of Lao Cai railway station
