摘要：	This research by collaborators from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) (academic partner) and the Cambodian Association of America (CAA) (community partner), will address the need for mobility and transportation network improvements for the senior Cambodian population of Long Beach. With respect to the Cambodian senior population, the goals of this pilot project are to identify barriers to transportation for social services such as congregate meal programs. The specific aims are to: (1) Identify how Cambodian traditional values impact access to transportation. (2) Define perceived transportation barriers to accessing services. (3) Identify the frequency of public transportation use among this population. (4) Strengthen the working relationship between the academic and community partners in order to implement culturally appropriate transportation services. (5) Development of a literature review to reflect previous and current research.
