The objective of this study is to quantify the performance of a variety of alternative best management practice (BMP) designs for application on Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) right-of-way. This study will compare the design and performance of several stormwater structures (e.g., natural buffers, dry swales, wet swales, bioretention areas, dry detention ponds, wet extended detention ponds, and fabric check dams) that have been designed and constructed to fit within the unique and predominantly linear geometries required for roadside structures. |
