Transportation decisions influence mobility patterns as well as overall quality of life. Mobility patterns of older adults and the factors that influence those patterns may predict well-being in old age. This study seeks to address transportation decision making by older adults (defined as 50+) and their impact on wellbeing. Using the Gallup-Healthways Well-being Index this study will assess the impact of home location, mode choice and region and their combined impact on the subjective well-being of people 50 and older nationwide.
