| 摘要： | Many State Departments of Transportation (DOT's) prepare an annual report and/or fact book that keeps the yearly statistical information about the state of the transportation system. This includes performance reporting that links performance measures for the strategic plan, legislative, and executive policy directions, as well as federal reporting requirements. The last District Department of Transportation (DDOT) statistical fact book was prepared in 2005. The fact book presented an aggregate of all the available statistical data of the District of Columbia (DC's) transportation system thereby reducing the time and effort to obtain such information. The fact book also showed the annual trends of pertinent transportation statistics of the transportation network which helped to provide benchmarks for measuring improvements. The Fact Book will also present key performance indicators for each of the Agency policy goals and will show the current and previous performance mark for each measure, and indicate which way the program is trending, and why. This project is aimed at gathering the pertinent statistical information of DC's roadway system and to prepare a Statistical Fact Book which will contain information needed for DDOT's decision making processes. |
