摘要: The objective of the research is to optimize hot mix asphalt (HMA) laboratory mixture design compaction as it relates to field compaction in order to increase in-place HMA pavement durability without sacrificing permanent deformation characteristics of the mixtures. The deliverables from the project are expected to be a revised HMA mixture design procedure and a suggested field study program to verify the new design procedure.
