Current fatality and injury statistics indicate that more must be done. Providing planners stakeholders and the public with better information would help to integrate safety into transportation decision-making processes. Integrating safety into all aspects of planning will require educating transportation planners stakeholders and the public about safety issues and potential solutions. |
