| 摘要： | Delivery of roughly 75% of consumer goods is carried out by trucks that must observe applicable roadway permit and truck load and oversize requirements. During the COVID-19 pandemic significant changes in the movement of goods and disruption to all transportation modes increasing challenges for truckers. several actions were needed in order to mitigate this disruption and delivery of critically needed supplies, for instance the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA) relaxed hours of service rules and States relaxed weight restrictions for public health supply and food deliveries. The objectives of this study are to identify successful practices and develop procedures and processes for relaxing weight restrictions for emergency supply deliveries. |
