Develop, Refine, and Validate a Survey to Assess Adult's Perspectives of Autonomous Ride-Sharing Services for Human Factors and Traffic Operational Observations
项目名称: Develop, Refine, and Validate a Survey to Assess Adult's Perspectives of Autonomous Ride-Sharing Services for Human Factors and Traffic Operational Observations
摘要: This project is in accord with the Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT’s) Safe Mobility for Life (SMFL) Program and Coalition Florida’s Aging Road User Strategic Safety Plan (http://safemobilityfl.com/pdfs/FDOT_Aging_SafetyPlan_FINAL.pdf.) This project also addresses Strategy 6.1.6 “determine impact of autonomous vehicles (AVs) on aging road user mobility and begin developing information and materials to educate users about this new technology”. Results from this project will benefit the “Transitioning from Driving” focus area and provide foundational knowledge to inform the Coalition’s “Transitioning from Driving” team. Specifically, results of this project will be used to help address AVs as a transportation option for older adults across the state; develop an initial draft survey; develop a beta version of the survey for adequate face validity; refine the survey based on the feedback of expert reviewers; ensure the survey is reliable (test-retest) and valid (construct validity); and disseminate the information on survey development.
