摘要: Steer-by-wire(SBW)system has no mechanical linkage between steering wheel and steering gear.It can improve the handing stability,passive safety and comfort of vehicles.However,the failureof SBW system can cause hazard driving situations,so how to ensure its safety has always been one of the restricting factors.The paper will come up with a dual-redundancy architecture of SBW system,which consists of four dual-redundancy subsystems,they are dual-redundancy power supply subsystem,dual-redundancy steer-ing wheel subsystem,dual-redundancy steering gear subsystem and dual-redundancy communication network subsystem.Fault Tree Anal-ysis(FTA)and Monte Carlo method are used to build the mathematical model for calculating the hardware reliability indexes of the du-al-redundancy SBW system proposed,the reliability indexes include degree of reliability,mean time between failures(MTBF)and failure rate.Compare these indexes with existing international standards to check if it is safe enough.Then compare dual-redundancy SBW system with part-redundancy SBW system and basic SBW system to indicate that only by using whole redundancy can SBW system get enough safety reliability.These aspects are implemented computationally with Matlab.
