| 摘要： | This project aims to design and implement a hybrid context aware Vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication platform that incorporates different wireless communication technologies under a unified architecture. The platform will expand transportation network capabilities, extend accessibility of transportation information, establish a strong interface for the transportation network with other infrastructures (e.g. cellular networks), which will open new horizons for various applications. Adopting an application driven architecture requires multi-modal operation. This platform will facilitate incorporating vehicles (properly equipped) as active communication beacons that not only have the ability to relay transportation information, but can also generate very useful transportation related data. |
