| 摘要： | The purpose of this research is to improve the measurement capabilities of the airflow induction facility at the Federal Highway Administration (FAA) Tech Center which will be divided into three parts as follows: (1) automate the velocity, pressure and temperature readings during wind tunnel operations; (2) add additional instruments to the wind tunnel, including setting up the PIV system, to further improve its diagnostic capabilities and characterize the flow in the tunnel, and; (3) study the boundary layer over a wing section to characterize the convective cooling of wing tanks for possible modeling. |
