| 摘要： | Travel is essential. Travel is undertaken to fulfil once requirement. Travel demand behaviour remains more or less consistent specially when considering unfailing travel. Unfailing travel would refer to travel for work or education purpose. Work trips and education trips are undertaken consistently day after day by people. It has an unchanging and predetermined pattern of travel. The study specifically looks at work trips undertaken by households residing in Pune city. The mode of travel to work and time of travel has repercussions on the traffic chaos and congestion in the city. The study aims to develop a model which highlights the travel demand in terms of distance travelled to work. |
